Myrtle Beach is an ISO Class 1 Fire Department.  
This is the highest rating the Insurance Services Office can assign.  
ISO Ratings evaluate every Fire Department on various categories including:




 
 

  • Apparatus

  • Staffing

  • Training

  • Station Distribution

  • Response Times

  • Hydrant Flow

This Rating ensures that the City of Myrtle Beach can be Proud that they are Protected by the most Advanced Technological Equipment,

State - of - the - Art Apparatus Fleet,

and the Highest Level of Trained Personnel.
